Fee Skalecki - Founder & Executive Director
My name is Fee Skalecki and I am the founder of this group. I started this group after tragically losing my beloved cat Korra.
Korra was a stray living out on the streets in Conshohocken and I decided to bring her home and give her a better life.
After losing her, I decided to branch out and help as many other animals as I possibly could. Although I don’t have the space in my home for any more animals, that doesn't mean that I don’t have the space in my heart to help them.
I have experience working as an Animal Care Technician for local rescue Pawsibilities, as well as Veterinary Assistant experience from Quakertown Vet Clinic. I have logged volunteer hours with the Wolf Sanctuary of Pennsylvania and the Montgomery County SPCA.
I also managed and worked at a few farms as well, The Red Buffalo Ranch, Indian Deep and Halligans Farm. I have a certification in Veterinary Support Assistance as well as have taken classes on Safe Restraining Techniques.
I believe that all animals deserve a chance to have a great life, no matter what. Together we can make that possible.

My name is Dan and I have helped Fee run KARE since she started it.
I have always loved animals and all of my pets are rescued in one way or another.
I believe that all people should be kind and respectful to animals. They are only here for a short amount of time, so why not make it the best time of their life.
